Ash=Psychic? Empty Ash=Psychic?

Has anyone noticed in the Anime Particulary in the newer ones Ash, Brock and Dawn are Psychic like In that episode where Dawn and her pokemon get seperated everyone knows its Mamoswines pokeball? So are they psychic or is there some way to tell.

I think all of a trainer pokeballs are linked and when they call out a pokemon the pokemon simply come out thats why they always yell the name when they throw it
